2010 Kia Forte National Press Introduction- wave one June 11th, 2009

By Kia Motors America Public Relation Team

The Kia Forte sedan national press introduction is underway in Seattle and media from wave one of two has completed the driving experience in the all-new Forte; the response has been impressive with comments like “The drive is solid, the design is solid and the features are solid,” and “There is a really nice blend of comfort and sport.”

The event is based at the Hyatt at Olive 8, the newest property in town and Seattle’s only LEED-certified hotel (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). It is a dynamic combination of sleek styling, modern conveniences and extreme efficiency, much like the all-new Forte. The group drove more than 250 miles up to Whidbey Island to experience spectacular roads, breathtaking views and even a ride on a ferry. Top U.S.-based journalists tested the Forte sedan, learned about its features as well as company sales and marketing updates while Kia Motors executives and product planners were on hand to address questions.

With all those Forte models in Seattle, now I know why my 2-week old order for a silver or titanium SX with AT & leather goes unfilled.

  • Steve

This car isn’t available with a navigation system in the USA! Great, I wanted one, but now forget it, the Forte is just an attractive piece of junk! I DO NOT WANT A STUPID CIVIC! GIVE THE FORTE NAVIGATION!!! I had a TomTom, and I hated it, it looks unprofessional. I threw it right out the window of my Optima, so I don’t even want to hear the “Oh, just get a Garmin or TomTom” suggestion, I want a center-stack navi in a Forte, or I can’t buy one!

  • Greg

I actually agree with Steve. We want one, but can’t have one due to lack of features. Give it the following package for $2,500 and we will be racing to the dealership. Anyone else who would be willing to buy a Forte SX with this package, please speak up!
    SX premium package:
360 Watt Infinity Audio w/ 7 or 9 speakers including subwoofer
    Navigation system
    Auto temperature control
Power front driver and passenger seats
Push button start w/ smart key

  • Steve,

In the US, only a few compact sedans come equipped with a center-stack navigation system – especially at a competitive
price offering like the Kia Forte. As such, the 2010 Forte will not be equipped with a standard navigation system.

Starting in the 2011 model year, however, the Forte will be offered with an optional navigation system.

Alright! We can get a Forte in 2011!!

  • I keep listening to the news speak in regards to getting free online allow applications so i have been looking around for the most proficient web-site to get one. . Wow! thank you! I at all times wanted to write in my web-site something like that.
