Adult Swim! May 8th, 2009

By Kia Motors America Public Relations team

Kia Motors America recently partnered with Cartoon Network’s “Adult Swim,” an animated and live action series for young adults for which Atlanta-based graffiti artist “Hense” was commissioned to paint a widely acclaimed Soul, themed with characters from Adult Swim’s “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” Enthusiasts can go to the custom-branded Web site to enter to win the limited-edition vehicle starting June 1. Adult Swim broadcast programming also will drive viewers to the Web site throughout the promotional period that concludes on June 28.

Love the colors. Reminds me of the early promotion film of the Soul concept car.

  • What are the specs for this vehicle (which engine/ trim and transmission, etc.)? If I work at a Kia Dealership (specifically in the parts department) am I eligible? Why is Frylock not on the Soul anywhere? I looked through the pictures and read the sweepstakes rules, my queries were not answered in either place…

  • Greg

Because of the 18″ wheels,it is either ! or Sport. Judging by the spoiler, it is a Sport model with 2.0L engine. Probably has an auto.

  • I’m still wondering if I am eligible for this contest. I work in the parts department at The Kia Store (KY008)…

  • Pamela (Korea)

    Hello Jason,

It likes like you would be ineligible for the contest… sorry to disappoint. Please see the information below.

The following are ineligible: employees and their spouses (and their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and any of their respective spouses), and household members of any of the foregoing (whether or not related)) of The Cartoon Network, Inc. (“Cartoon Network”), Kia Motors America Inc. (“KIA”) (Cartoon Network and KIA shall be collectively referred to as “Sponsors”), Hot House, Inc. (“Administrator”), Time Warner Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, trustees, franchisees, participating vendors, distributors, cable affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated entities (collectively, including Sponsors and Administrator, the “Sweepstakes Entities”).

  • I saw the rules but wasn’t sure if I work for “Kia” or just the dealership. At work they said I am not paid by Kia but the dealership. I would prefer to work straight for Kia! :)

Thanks for the information though Pamela. :)

  • Thoughtful post and well written. Please write more on this if you have time.

  • Please, can you tell me few more about this, I am really fan of your blog…gets solved properly asap.

  • I’d like to make a recommendation? I think that youve got something great in this article. But what if you included a couple links to a internet page that backs up exactly what youre stating? Or possibly you might give us a little something to take a look at, something that would be connected what you’re stating to some thing concrete? Just a suggestion.
