All eyes on the all-new Optima! The official launch in Seoul July 29th, 2015
The all-new Optima made its official debut in South Korea (where it is known as the K5) this past week. Since the launch its predecessor in 2010, the Kia Optima has taken the midsize sedan segment by storm, selling over 1.4 million units worldwide.
Confident in continued success, Kia has invested US$420 million into the development of the ‘Advanced Sporty Sedan’ over the last 45 months. With its perfected design, powerful engine choices and fascinating features, the city of Seoul was blown away!
To suit the needs of all lifestyles, Kia presents dual design trim levels for the all-new Optima in the domestic market: the MX (modern extreme) and the SX (sporty extreme). The SX model highlights the Optima’s signature sporty design, with its voluminous radiator grill and a triangular-shaped air intake designed to suit all action-filled lifestyle needs. The MX model has a smooth overall line running from the front of the vehicle all the way to the back for a sleek and modern overall image.
