Shhh…it’s a surprise! Building on the enthusiasm created by our partnership with the YouTube Music Awards (YTMA), Kia is excited to present the second episode of The Shhhow with Clean Bandit. The Shhhow, a series of music performances that occur outside of traditional venues, is designed to delight music fans with great music created at the spur of the moment. This time, electronic group Clean Bandit from the UK surprised their biggest fans at a warehouse located in East London which was totally transformed into a surreal world for their newest album, ‘New Eyes’.
The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), is the first chance of the year to catch a glimpse of what’s ahead for the international automotive industry. Amid the excitement sit 25 of Kia’s finest vehicles, including the all-new Sorento, the all-new Sedona (Grand Carnival), the enhanced K900 (Quoris), and the Cadenza. The Kia Soul Red Zone is another highlight of the Kia booth, with its chic black body and 18-inch alloy wheels grabbing everyone’s attention.
To celebrate the Australian Open 2015, Kia is presenting to the world the Kia X-Car, based on Kia’s all-new Sorento premium SUV. The Kia X-Car was inspired by Wolverine who fights the evil Sentinels with his invincible Adamantium claws in the latest X-Men series, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Adding to the excitement of Kia’s sponsorship of the 2015 YouTube Music Awards, we are presenting to music fans across the world the REDISCOVERED series. The REDISCOVERED campaign involves Kia collaborations with the talented artists of today who step outside of their genres and cover a classic song from the past. Watch as emerging American musician Matthew Koma covers Smokey Robinson’s legendary ‘The Tracks of My Tears’.
If you are a fan of X-Men series produced by Marvel, look out for the Australian Open 2015. As the major sponsor of the Australian Open, held in Melbourne, Australia every January, Kia is teaming up with the X-Men heroes and tennis superstar Rafael Nadal to wow tennis fans all over the globe. We collaborated with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to produce the Kia X-Car, an X-Men inspired all-new Kia Sorento, the third generation of the brand’s best-selling SUV. Kia Motors brought home another prestigious award, with the Kia Soul EV winning the Car of the Year title in Norway. The largest consumer information service providing organization in Norway, Dinside, has named the Kia Soul EV the best car for 2015 based on its price, space, handling, technology, and environmental friendliness.
Kia is the defending champion of the International Car of the Year (ICOTY) award organized by Road & Travel Magazine! During the 2015 LA International Auto Show, the Kia K900, known as Quoris in some markets, was honored by Road & Travel Magazine as the most emotionally compelling vehicle for 2015. It is the first time in the award’s history that the same brand was selected for three consecutive years. Previously, we were recognized for our premium sedan, the Cadenza, and our best-selling Optima midsize sedan.
From June 11 to July 4 next year, football fever will engulf the South American continent once again during the 44th Copa América 2015 hosted by Chile. Kia is excited to take part in this world-class event as a platinum sponsor of the football championship for national teams within South America. After successfully sponsoring three World Cups, we are very proud to continue to bring the excitement of football at the Copa América Championship to fans all around South America.
The curtain was raised on the LA Auto Show on November 21, 2014, where Kia Motors presented thirty of its top cars, including the New Sorento, New Sedona, K900 (Quoris), and Soul EV. Kia’s booth featured four sections with each one rocking a ‘California Adventure’ theme. Ranging from dry desert to fruit-filled valley, the Kia booth attracted visitors with a variety of themes based on music, decoration, food and cars.

The half-boy, half-hero mascot, who has the magic power to fly around the globe and connect people through the power of football, will appear at key events for the UEFA EURO 2016TM Tournament and meet football fans from around the globe. He will be featured with Kia Sportage, the best-selling CUV model in France.
The Kia Ray, a vehicle that is only marketed in Kia’s home country of Korea, recently had a chance to play dress-up with some Ray drivers and fans that got a firsthand look at unique and personalized Ray vehicles on display at the second annual Ray Dress-Up Festival in Korea!
Kia Motors America had a fun display this year at the 2014 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, bringing the sights and sounds of the race track to the Kia booth. Kia celebrated its second title-winning season at the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge with the “A Day at the Races” 2014 SEMA display commemorating the company’s racing success. The booth embraced the tastier side of trackside festivities, with a modified Sedona serving up handcrafted Ballast Point brews, and a festive Soul EV, outfitted with iconic finishes from the classic ice cream truck serving up Smitten Ice Cream.

Take the 2015 Kia Soul for instance, which was recently named the Active Lifestyle Vehicle of the Year, for the third time in a row, at the 11th annual Active Lifestyle Vehicle awards. The 2015 Kia Soul is a fun and funky urban passenger vehicle that is perfectly suited to a fun and funky urban lifestyle.
After being named one of Interbrand’s Best Global Green Brands earlier this year, Kia Motors has jumped to number 74 on the definitive list of 100 Best Global Brands. This is nine spots ahead of last year’s ranking on the annual list put out by international brand consultancy Interbrand, which ranks the world’s most valuable brands. Moreover, Kia’s brand value has skyrocketed about 480% since 2007, after hiring Peter Schreyer as chief design officer and placing design at the core of its management philosophy.

All Kia fans can now get a Kia Virtual Tour of the Kia booth in Paris thanks to Google View. Google View allows all Kia fans to visit the Kia displays at the Paris Motor Show from the comfort of their own home, even getting a peek inside the all-new third-generation 2015 Kia Sorento, the enhanced Kia Rio and Venga models, and the revolutionary Optima T-hybrid concept and the Soul EV!
We’re finally done teasing about the 2014 Paris Motor Show, which is Europe’s last big motor show of the year, after holding a press conference and opening the Kia booth to the public. Those who got to stop by the Kia booth had a chance to see the 3rd generation Kia Sorento model, which just made its European debut, the enhanced Kia Rio and Venga models, and even the Kia Soul EV!
