Born for Beijing
Specifically tailored for the Chinese market, the K4 concept car was finally unveiled in Beijing, at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. What’s even more exciting is the news that the K4 concept car will come to life, as Kia plans production versions of the sedan to go on sale in the second half of this year, focused on targeting drivers with families.

Kia Motors ignited the 2013 Chicago Auto Show when the all-new, ultra-hot Forte (Cerato in some markets) 5-door rolled on-stage.
Our all-new Cerato (Forte) made its world premiere at the LA Auto Show back in November, and last month we asked the 2 million plus people who like Kia Motors on Facebook to ask any questions they might have about our next generation compact sedan.
Today on BUZZ, we’d like to recap some of these momentous milestones and share with you what got us moving in the year 2012. Let’s take a look.
Sculpted to portray ‘dynamic muscularity’ and provoke an emotional response, the sleeker new Cerato has cab-forward styling, a lower coupe-like roofline, distinctive eye-catching concave door contours and a rising beltline with a chrome window molding extending into the C-pillar to project an aura of elegance.
To coincide with the unveiling of the all-new Kia Cerato(Forte) on Wednesday at the LA Motor Show, Kia has revealed details of the version for other export markets outside of North America. This model is scheduled to go on sale during the first quarter of 2013 at Kia dealerships in many countries around the world.
Featuring futuristic and dynamic styling, the all-new Cerato features a sleeker profile, LED front and rear lamps and a chrome-finished beltline.
Kia will introduce the next generation Cerato compact sedan later this year in its home market of Korea under a new name – ‘K3’ (domestic market only).

The event is based at the Hyatt at Olive 8, the newest property in town and Seattle’s only LEED-certified hotel (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). It is a dynamic combination of sleek styling, modern conveniences and extreme efficiency, much like the all-new Forte. The group drove more than 250 miles up to Whidbey Island to experience spectacular roads, breathtaking views and even a ride on a ferry. Top U.S.-based journalists tested the Forte sedan, learned about its features as well as company sales and marketing updates while Kia Motors executives and product planners were on hand to address questions.
