Kia is no stranger to exciting road trips. Just recently, we launched the Father and Son Road Trip project to encourage fathers and sons to share their stories with us and win a special overnight road trip. Today, we are putting together a list of tips for a great road trip for our fans. As part of the Tuning King Korea competition, three automotive technician crews, Dexcrew, Pico Sound, and Chang’s Custom, have been customizing the Kia Soul with specific design directions and specs in mind.

When it comes to design, Kia is reaching new heights, and we are being recognized for our innovation. The GT4 Stinger and 2014 Kia Soul once again proved their car design prowess, especially after the Industrial Designers Society of America awarded Kia with a pair of prestigious design awards. The GT4 Stinger concept and the 2014 Kia Soul earned Silver and Bronze honors, respectively, in the transportation category of the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA).
The Eat Your Kimchi team is a Korea-based YouTube/blogger duo made up of the quirky couple, Simon and Martina Stawski. Android Auto made its debut at the Google I/O Conference last week, bringing us one step closer to Android being available to you wherever you go. We talked about connected cars and UVO technology just a couple weeks ago, and this represents yet another exciting new development in “smart cars.” The Kia Soul got a chance to take Android Auto for a test drive! (Video below) Android Auto will offer just what its name suggests: easy access to any Android app from the dashboard of your vehicle, so you no longer have to dangerously drive and check your phone at the same time.
