Every year, the 15th of May marks the International Day of Families, as proclaimed by the UN. In celebration of this meaningful occasion, Kia would like to welcome the new additions to our #KiaFamily! This year has been quite a productive one, breathing life into our passion for innovation and surprising our fans. In short order, we have welcomed the all-new Optima; enhanced versions of the Rio and Picanto; cee’d GT Line; and several exciting new concept models, including the Trail’ster, Sportspace and Novo, to the family.
Auto Shanghai 2015: Introducing the all-new Optima and Quoris
Global car makers gathered once again in Shanghai, China to present their latest models to the world’s biggest auto market as the curtain raised on Auto Shanghai 2015 on April 20. Kia Motors and its joint venture partner Dongfeng Yueda Kia (DYK) in China also participated with 27 vehicle models including the all-new Kia Optima and the premium sedan Quoris, also known as K900 in North America.

Seoul Motor Show 2015: The Novo concept, and much more
The world premiere of the all-new Optima at the New York International Auto Show just got wrapped up, but Kia continues to bring surprises wherever it goes. This time, we are back on our home turf for the Seoul Motor Show where we unveiled the Kia Novo concept for the very first time. Featuring coupé-inspired styling and a minimalist, driver-focused cabin, the Kia Novo’s bold looks captivated the huge crowd gathered to see the latest from Kia.
Revealed. All-new Optima at the New York Auto Show
The all-new Optima, Kia’s signature midsize sedan, has finally made its much anticipated debut at the New York International Auto Show 2015. Five years after the introduction of the previous generation Optima, Kia unveiled a completely redesigned and reengineered model with an upgraded look and performance in front of global auto media. As the top-selling Kia vehicle for three consecutive years in the U.S., the Optima has evolved while retaining the sporty identity of its predecessor.

Adriana Lima turns everyone into “fútbol” fans for the World Cup
The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ is just a couple days away, and Kia is honored to be a continued partner. With a little help from supermodel Adriana Lima, Kia Motors America (KMA) is launching the “For One Month, Let’s All be Fútbol Fans” campaign, marked by a series of three TV commercials featuring Lima, the 2015 Optima midsize sedan and the Sorento CUV, a man cave, and a sports bar. Kia Motors America breaks monthly sales records
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Kia Motors America (KMA) reached historic new heights this past May with an all-time best monthly sales record of 60,087 vehicles total, a 14.8% increase over the same period in 2013—and also marking the first time KMA has achieved more than 60,000 sales in a single month.
