The Chicago Auto Show has come to a close but it definitely left behind a big splash in the auto industry. Kia took part in the largest auto show in the U.S. with 15 Kia models including the Trail’ster, the refreshed Rio, the all-new Sorento and the all-new Sedona (Grand Carnival). Among these outstanding models, the newly introduced Trail’ster, an electric AWD concept vehicle based on the Kia Soul, was easily the center of most attention. The all-new Sorento has been recognized for its stylish and practical design features along with its high level of innovation.

It’s been described as sleek, bold and luxurious, and now you can add ‘green’ to the list. The all-new Kia Sorento has recently been recognized as the 12th Kia vehicle to receive the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) certificate from TÜV Nord, the renowned international technical inspection organization. The LCA certificate is awarded exclusively to vehicles that have satisfied the demanding ISO 14040 standards, which consider the environmental impact of the vehicle throughout its whole lifespan, from the production process all the way to its decomposition. Kia cee’d and Optima are just two of our previous recipients.
Kia’s premium SUV model, the all-new Sorento, made its overseas debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show earlier this year. While it wowed the crowd with its bold look at first glance, there’s lots more to discover when it comes to this exciting new generation’s wide variety of features and specs. The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ is just a couple days away, and Kia is honored to be a continued partner. With a little help from supermodel Adriana Lima, Kia Motors America (KMA) is launching the “For One Month, Let’s All be Fútbol Fans” campaign, marked by a series of three TV commercials featuring Lima, the 2015 Optima midsize sedan and the Sorento CUV, a man cave, and a sports bar. The beautiful country of South Korea is where Kia’s headquarters lie, and as one of the country’s auto manufacturers, we’re always looking for a chance to showcase the beauty that lies within South Korea. So we were thrilled to have the opportunity to invite journalists from Italy for a visit! Kia invited Franco Gionco and Laura Seber from Motorcube Italy for a chance to experience the best of Korea firsthand with the help of the Kia Sorento, which proved to be the best tour guide for their trip.
