There’s a lot of excitement around the launch of the all-new Kia Sorento which goes on sale in the global market in early 2015. To provide an insider’s look at the newest model, we sat down with the Kia teams involved in the development and sales of the all-new Kia Sorento and asked them about what makes it the ideal SUV model for today’s motorists. Below are their answers and some photos taken at signature spots from around the globe.
To celebrate the Australian Open 2015, Kia is presenting to the world the Kia X-Car, based on Kia’s all-new Sorento premium SUV. The Kia X-Car was inspired by Wolverine who fights the evil Sentinels with his invincible Adamantium claws in the latest X-Men series, X-Men: Days of Future Past. It’s been described as sleek, bold and luxurious, and now you can add ‘green’ to the list. The all-new Kia Sorento has recently been recognized as the 12th Kia vehicle to receive the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) certificate from TÜV Nord, the renowned international technical inspection organization. The LCA certificate is awarded exclusively to vehicles that have satisfied the demanding ISO 14040 standards, which consider the environmental impact of the vehicle throughout its whole lifespan, from the production process all the way to its decomposition. Kia cee’d and Optima are just two of our previous recipients.
Kia’s premium SUV model, the all-new Sorento, made its overseas debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show earlier this year. While it wowed the crowd with its bold look at first glance, there’s lots more to discover when it comes to this exciting new generation’s wide variety of features and specs. Spencer Cho, head of Kia’s Overseas Product Marketing Team, has broken down the reasons why the all-new Sorento is poised to be the best in its class.
