Kia World Extreme Games 2015 returns to Shanghai May 7th, 2015

Over the weekend, the Kia World Extreme Games, the world’s most prestigious extreme sports competition, was held in Shanghai, China for the ninth time. Attended by some 215 extreme sports athletes from 38 countries, Kia World Extreme Games 2015 was staged in front of the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and at the KIC Jiangwan Sports Centre, attracting an unprecedented level of attention from Shanghai citizens. Contestants competed in a number of categories, including BMX, skateboarding, speed climbing, and International Freestyle Motocross (FMX).

Big names in the extreme sports scene, including Trey Wood, Jimmy Wilkins and Filipe Gustavo, were all there to compete, and Vince Bryon once again proved to be at the top of his game by winning the BMX Vert championship. Also, BMX legend Mat Hoffman appeared as an event ambassador and head judge for the BMX category.
