Rondo (also known as Carens) is more than a traditional MPV. It is a CUV that can seat up to seven passengers developed to answer the needs of a family-friendly recreation vehicle in the sporty style of a SUV.
Interest in the multifunctional Rondo has spiked with the recent rise in oil prices and economic slide. According to CarsforGirls.com, a recent study by used car information site, Carfax, revealed that US consumer interest in SUVs and crossover vehicles has grown substantially over last year. What’s more, the Kia Rondo topped the list of most popular SUVs researched by consumers at Carfax.com with a whopping increase of 3600% over a year ago.
Rondo’s dynamic front area, tall height and beltline, in addition to its simple and sophisticated greenhouse and rear-view mirror, individualistic style, outstanding visibility and maneuverability, deliver a premium driving experience. The latest convenience features and diverse storage areas, large interior and flexible seating variations make it an ideal choice for holding cargo (6.5 cubic feet for a 7-seater). Befitting a family recreation vehicle, the Rondo also boasts NHTSA five-star rating in safety. Additional features include a high-tech multimedia system with a standard mp3 player.
Amid a general rise in interest among American consumers for CUVs and SUVs, Rondo is attracting even more attention because of its superior marketability, compact size and greater fuel efficiency than a traditional minivan as a people mover. In this way, Rondo meets the diverse needs of consumers.
