#WorldCup Fever! April 15th, 2014

Kia believes in bringing people together, and what better way than through sports? Sporting events are always a source of great excitement and a grand display of friendly competition. Fan loyalty is particularly intense when the competition goes global. As an official sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, Kia considers this mega sporting event the perfect opportunity to bring people from all over the world together—children, Kia dealership employees and Kia fans.

We are extending our love for sports beyond the professional arena, reaching out to other football lovers across the world with our Kia Champ into the Arena event. The event is a competition between futsal teams, similar to football teams but with 5 players, who are playing for a chance to win a ticket to the world finals in Brazil. These enthusiastic football teams come from all over the world, and we are excited to be part of bringing football lovers together for some intense but friendly competition.

The action is already underway, and things have really been heating up in the preliminary rounds, which will continue until the finalists are determined in May. Kia is sponsoring an all-expense-paid trip to Brazil for the finalists who will enjoy the quarterfinal games.

In addition to the Champ into the Arena games, we‘ve been gearing up other programs for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.

We want children to get in on all the World Cup action as well. Forty-two lucky children will have an opportunity to become a Kia Mascot Friend, escorting the 2014 FIFA World Cup mascot, Fuleco, onto the pitch during game halftimes in Brazil.

The Kia Global Top Dealer Contest invites the top 32 Kia dealers from all over the world, based on their performance in the first quarter of this year, to watch the opening match in Sao Paolo as well as visit the famous Iguazu Falls.

The Kia 2014 World Cup Road Show will take different Kia vehicles all around the world. Fans can experience Kia’s latest cars and forty two lucky winners will get a chance to visit the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
